English Bishops on civil partnerships & same-sex relationships

The House of Bishops of the Church of England will review civil partnerships and same-sex relationships in the UK. By 2012, they’ll review the 2005 pastoral statement “in light of recent developments”. By 2013 they will develop proposals on how to continue discussion “…in the light of the listening process.” Meanwhile the legal opinion barring gay bishops stands.
