Anglican Covenant gathers four more “no” votes

Four more diocesan synods of the Church of England have rejected the Anglican Covenant in voting today. That makes the total 17 against and 10 in favor. If 22 synods vote against the Covenant it will not be taken up by the Church of England’s General Synod for adoption.

Dear Paul, I would normally start a letter with pleasantries like “How are you? Hope all is well with you.” I’ve read your letters and notice you have a formula for greeting those to whom you write, but it’s as alien to me as mine would be to you so we’ll dispense with that for now, if you don’t mind.
