The Episcopal Bishops of North Carolina on the anti-LGBT law in that state

… our hearts are grieved by the actions of the North Carolina General Assembly which, we believe, far from protecting public safety, actually contribute to prejudice and misunderstanding toward our neighbors whose gender identity is more complicated than the simple matter of anatomy. Oxford to drop Christianity requirement for Theology degrees?

The headlines over the weekend cited 800 years of tradition, but may have overstated the extent to which the ancient Oxford University is changing to accommodate the changing times around its Theology department. Christian Today declared that “Christianity is no longer compulsory for Oxford Theology students.”
