The Church of South India celebrates its 70th anniversary

The Church of South India (CSI) came into existence in 27 SEP 1947, the same year that India gained its independance from the United Kingdom. The CSI is a united church that brought together a number of protestant churches ministering in South India. The CSI is a constituent member of the Anglican Communion.

Fair Trade chocolate at English Cathedrals

The Meaningful Chocolate Company is a UK perveyor of fair trade chocolate. After a survey of major tourist attractions in the UK, such as the British Museum and the Chester Zoo, Meaningful Chocolate found that none of the major sites carried fair trade chocolate. When Meaningful Chocolate approached these attractions to offer a remedy to that finding, it was rebuffed or ignored.
