Two months ago the Public Religion Research Institute released a research report on the rise of the Nones in US religion. Referring to them as the unaffiliated, the research has been published as “Exodus: Why Americans are Leaving Religion—and Why They’re Unlikely to Come Back.”
Friday a week ago, 18 NOV, what is thought to be the largest Zumbathon in a church and perhaps the first in a Cathedral, was held in Chester Cathedral in Chester UK. Over 500 people attended a two-hour Zumba class to raise funds for BBC Children in Need programs. Each attendee paid £10, all of which was donated to the charity.
It would be a very dull world if we all were alike enough to all like the same hymn. We all have different experiences, different needs, different tastes. I think Watts understood this, and wrote accordingly.
