– It is reasonable that those who want to participate and decide in the Norwegian church, … know what happens there, says leading bishop Helga Haugland Byfuglien.
– We are moving toward a new reality, in which members must take more responsibility for [their] church. This is a natural step on the road.
She can now present the Church Council’s new attendance card, which church members must present the completed if they wish to vote in this autumn’s parish and diocesan council elections. The card will be sent out next week, to all the Norwegian Church voting members.

At least three times before Election Day 12 September must vote seekers reconcile themselves to worship. The card, which is personal and should pålimes image, must be certified by a priest, sexton or parish council chairman after each service.
