We’ve received reports from the hospital that the Rev. Mary-Marguerite Kohn is still on life-support. We deeply regret our earlier report to the contrary.

Kohn and parish administrator Brenda Brewington, 59, were shot in the office of St. Peter’s yesterday afternoon. Ms. Brewington was declared dead on the scene.
Douglas Franklin Jones, 56, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a wooded area near the on church Thursday night. Howard County police believe he shot the two women in the church office before going to the woods, where he had been living.

Kohn’s family issued a statement late Friday:
“The Reverend Kohn was transported to Shock Trauma last evening and remains on life support in critical condition to support the family intentions to provide the gift of life through organ donation”.
