Breast-feeding moms got some attention this week when Pope Francis encouraged the practice during a baptismal service in Vatican City. The pope, who leads the Roman Catholic Church, baptized 32 babies in the Sistine Chapel on Sunday, telling moms to feed babies who became hungry.
The comment followed a December interview in which the pope said mothers should be comfortable breast-feeding during his ceremonies. In central Ohio, mothers say they generally feel comfortable and supported if they nurse their babies during worship services.
