The Diocese of Bethlehem in Pennsylvania is beginning the search for a new bishop. They have had a bishop provisional since 2014, when The Rt. Rev. Sean Rowe was elected following the retiring of The Rt. Rev. Paul Marshall, the Diocese’ eighth bishop. At the time, the search committee felt that they were not ready for a new bishop. “Leadership had atrophied, committees were stressed and not functioning well, financial resources were in need of realignment and transparency. Relationally, some among us were hurt, and we were in need of healing.”
Applications are being accepted until September 18, 2017.
