The General Convention of the Episcopal Church, set to begin on Tuesday, July 3, will offer new media platforms and opportunities for engagement.
One of the highlights of this new strategy will be three TEC (The Episcopal Church) Talks held over the course of the General Convention during joint sessions of the House of Deputies and the House of Bishops. The Talks will address three components of the Jesus Movement: Racial Reconciliation, Evangelism, and Creation Care.
The Media Hub of the General Convention will livestream these sessions so that the whole Church can participate.
These three topics have been foundational elements of Presiding Bishop Michael Curry’s vision for the Jesus Movement within the Episcopal Church. It should come as no surprise, then, that they will be the focus for these public sessions.
Racial Reconciliation – Friday, July 6, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM (CDT)
Evangelism – Saturday, July 7, 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM (CDT)
