Saints of God, living clouds of witness
to our faith, intercede for us as we remember you.
May the clouds of your devotion roll over us, to give us shade,
Rolling back, revealing light,
The light of God’s Son making day’s bright hours,
A brightness which yet is but a shadow of the God-light
that shines forever over you, living now within it.
Saints of God, you are many, all filled with special love, pray help for us.
We think of all the blessings you confirm, we beg you, do not cease,
Pray for us.
You have done it first, you have lived the Message, the Word,
You have gathered God’s great love and favor,
You have so much of God’s healing graces.
Pray for us as you live in the Glory that is Timeless Forever.
We send you love, we see you as the road to hope and joy,
You have seen, as Job declared, that our Redeemer liveth,
And now, this earth in such great turmoil, do you shake your heads, your spirit selves
looking with compassion upon this dreadful world?
Help us find hope, ask God for us, for the mercy of the healing world.
We celebrate you, and trust your witness to Christ and a witness to our suffering.
Bring us to joy, to health, by your holy words uttered in the Splendor all about you.
Our thanks for all your prayers. What can we say, except to thank you, for you can hear
the sorrows in our hearts, the sadness of a stricken world. Amen.
