We reported last month about the music video recorded three days after the Orlando massacre by the Broadway theater community to raise funds for organizations serving the victims families and the Orlando LGBT community. That video recorded the Burt Bacharach/Hal David song from the 60s, What the World Needs Now Is Love. Last week, another group of artists; both singers and singing actors, recorded a new song written to also raise funds for organizations serving the victims families and the LGBT community, both in Orlando and at large. Hands, was released by GLAAD/Interscope Records on 5 JUL and is available exclusively on iTunes. The proceeds from the sale of Hands go to Equality Florida Pulse Victims Fund, the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida, and GLAAD. 43¢ will be donated to Equality Florida, 43¢ will be donated to GLBT Community Center of Central Florida, and 43¢ will be donated to GLAAD from every copy sold.
