TEC Office of Public Affairs issued the following press release today. The church is accepting applications for the position of Staff Officer for Church Planting Infrastructure from now until May 22. This position is on the Presiding Bishop’s staff.

for Church Planting Infrastructure[April 17, 2017] The Episcopal Church is accepting applications for the new full-time position of Staff Officer for Church Planting Infrastructure, a member of the Presiding Bishop’s staff.
The Church Planting and Mission Development Department is overseeing the creation of a churchwide network for planting congregations, recruiting and training church planters, and establishing new ministries throughout the Episcopal Church. The Staff Officer for Church Planting Infrastructure will collaborate in the design, development and implementation of resources, strategies and structures that foster a churchwide movement of new ministries. In addition to experience with developing congregations among congregations historically under-represented in the Episcopal Church, Spanish language proficiency is preferred.
