NBC’s Today show reported on the restoration work that has begun at Holy Trinity Cathedral in Port au Prince, Haiti. The murals depicting Haitians in traditional Biblical scenes were created in the 1940’s and are being restored with help from the Smithsonian Institution.

Armstrong sentenced

On Friday, Fourth Judicial District Judge Gregory R. Werner sentenced ACNA priest the Rev. Donald Armstrong to four years probation and to pay $99,247 restitution for his Alford plea to one count of misdemeanor theft of funds from the Colorado Springs church where he once served as rector.
