Standing and staring like the cows is surely one of the most important things we can do. It creates an open space in which God can unfold in just the way she has always dreamed. Where I think the lesson is in what we do if we give in and what’s the outcome. Does it bring us closer to God or separate us further from God? That’s the real question we have to answer, and answer directly to God. God doesn’t require it, but is always ready and waiting to listen.
