I would say if Rittenhouse had been Black, he most likely would not have come out of that night alive. A young white man brazenly carrying an automatic weapon through city streets was virtually ignored by law enforcement. Welby apologizes to Ghana Anglicans

The Archbishop of Canterbury has apologised for not speaking directly to the Ghanaian bishops before issuing his statement last month. Welby’s [new] statement leaves it unclear what position the Anglican leadership in Ghana will take as the anti-LGBTQ+ Bill progresses through the legislature. His quotation from Resolution 1.10 omits the fact that it rejected “homosexual practice as incompatible with scripture”, and could thus be cited in support of aspects of the Bill. – Church Times

Diocese of Ohio Standing Committee adopts new bishop search model

“The Standing Committee’s primary role is to design the search process. There is no prescribed roadmap describing how a bishop search is done. At the encouragement of Bishop Todd Ousley from the Episcopal Church’s Office of Pastoral Development, we are intentionally using a new model.
