Eastern Mennonite University and Goshen College each announced they will change their hiring procedures to permit the hiring of faculty members who are in same-sex marriages. They are the first members of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities to adopt such a rule.
The House of Bishops on Monday approved two liturgies for trial use that will permit same-sex couples to be married in the Episcopal Church, beginning on the first Sunday of Advent of this year.
