“A new month begins full of hope and promise, fireflies and campfires, sunsets and sprinklers.”

“Because you say so, Jesus, I will listen. Jesus calls each of us, where we are, in whatever situation we find ourselves, and he invites us to use our entire being to bring hope and healing into the world. For some it’s letting go of insecurity and doubt, for others it’s letting go of ego, and for others it’s trusting their own voice to speak up for others.” 

“It will always be like this, 
Each of us going on 
In our explicable ways
Building the universe.”

As the wind blows my hair
the birds provide music to break my silence
as I listen to God’s persistent voice: “I am here. You are mine.” 

“When I needed a book from the shelf behind me I looked up for the first time seeing a brilliant orange sunset, almost as if the sky was on fire. I quickly walked out my door where my eyes were drawn to the light of a double rainbow.” 

“With every sunrise and sunset

may my body be a prayer

my life given in love

for the sake of my neighbor

for the sake of the world”

“This prayer is for you – if you find it, know it’s been offered in love
By the God who has claimed you before you were born and marked you as beloved.”

“We wait trusting that God waits with us in our longings, questions, doubts, and fears. We wait holding close to God’s truth that we are not alone. We wait offering our prayers for what is to come delighting in God’s provision right now.”

“So much is different right now and so much uncertainty exists, but underneath it all, the most important fact remains: we are all loved.”

“I keep wondering how did we get here?”
