A Prayer for the Day
O Lord, it’s been a day, already. And I haven’t even gotten out of bed.
O Lord, it’s been a day, already. And I haven’t even gotten out of bed.
And then there are those mornings when it feels like you’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. Those days when no one else can see what you’re carrying deep inside.
Losing a loved one changes us and forever alters how we live in the world. But in the midst of our grieving we do go on. We continue to live.
We don’t take many steps to reach the church doors from our home. But each step becomes a prayer as we gather for worship.
The one who knows the power in preparing place. In welcoming through cleanliness, light, and fresh-smelling coffee. The one who knows God delights in welcoming anyone to walk through the doors
The nights can be long, Lord,
But so is the vastness of your love and presence.
… one card and one note to share God’s love with others. One recycled card at a time.
