The Wisconsin State Journal reports that Bishop Steven Miller is not going to permit the blessing of same-sex relationships in the Diocese of Milwaukee.
Miller, who favors civil marriage for same-sex couples said he does not believe the rite of same-sex blessings is theologically sound. He will, however, allow diocesan clergy to preside at same-sex blessings and same-sex couples from the diocese to have their relationships blessed in their neighboring Diocese of Chicago.
