Archbishop’s Task Group plans Season of Repentance and Prayer

Breakaway bishop to Europe takes leave due to “very difficult personal matters”

In Canada, former bishop’s residence is repurposed as homeless shelter

This past fall, the Anglican Church of Canada’s Diocese of Fredericton offered the six-bedroom residence to use as an overnight shelter for those experiencing homelessness in their city, which is the capital of the province of New Brunswick.  At the time, they estimated that there were 35 people sleeping on the streets in the city of approximately 60,000.

Grieving the American Bible Society

Ever since my freshman year, I have toted around the same dog-eared, taped up, Revised Standard Version Bible that I bought in a college book store. It is an old friend, and I am deeply grateful to the American Bible Society for introducing us.  Now when I see it, there is a pang of hurt and heartbreak.
