Celebrating King and praying for Obama at the National Cathedral

The National Prayer Service will be Web cast today from Washington National Cathedral at 10 am. Here is the service leaflet.

UPDATE: On demand video link.

In the meantime, have a look at some vibrant video of the Cathedral’s hip-hop celebration of Martin Luther King Day.

Salon reports that the cathedral was full as people danced, sang and celebrated Dr. King. The lively program included the Urban Nation H.I.P.-H.O.P. Choir, the African Heritage Drummers, and “hip-hop violinist” Daniel Davis.
