Episcopal school students quarantined after off-campus social events

Students in the upper school at Episcopal School of Baton Rouge are switching to on-line education. This after a quarter of those students attended off-campus social events where it is possible they were exposed to Corona 19.

The school was founded in 1965.

The Advocate reports:

“Transitioning Upper School to distance learning is a precautionary measure to create a gap between those who have been exposed and those who have not been exposed,” a school press release said.

Head of School Dr. Carrie Steakley said a quarter of the Upper School students were asked to quarantine after “multiple off-campus social events last weekend.”

On-line learning for these students will continue for the remainder of the month.
