Giles Fraser interviewed on BBC

Reverend Canon Dr Giles Fraser, who resigned in protest from his position as Chancellor of St Paul’s over how the cathedral handled its relationship with the Occupy movement, was interviewed in depth on the BBC Newsnight. (Watch the video here)

The BBC suggests that “…the Church as a whole seems unsure how to deal with the confrontation and its position on western capitalism.”

Dr. Fraser told Newsnight that while he understood the “practical problems with the camp being there… I actually think the bigger picture is the questions they are raising.

“There probably needs to be a well worked out exit strategy, by the protesters themselves… They probably would have gone by now had the Corporation of London not decided to take out its legal action.”
