A rumour has been growing about a possible review of the Roman Catholic missal translation, but no one anticipated the announcement of a New Ecumenical English Missal Project, which will mean that the words for the whole Eucharist will be the same across a number of significant English-speaking denominations.
Pope Francis, ever taking people by surprise, in only the second year of his papacy, pointedly, on the feast day of a woman saint, St Theodora (April 1), is formally signing the declaration that he has the agreement of significant English-speaking churches and ecclesial communities to work towards a new Ecumenical English Missal.

There sits underneath the forecourt of Charing Cross railway station a hidden marvel, the remains of a Hawksmoor designed church that is today sealed off and hidden — except for one prominent and often misattributed visible sign of its existence.

So, although it was effectively buried underground and pretty much sealed off, having been somewhat duped by the railway in the 1860s, the Church Commissioners in a fit of pique, refused to deconsecrate the church[3].
It is still technically a functioning place of worship.
However, although not available for daily use, it was agreed that a blessing service would take place annually to keep the sanctity of the building intact.

As many of you know, we’re launching our annual Accio Books campaign this week. During the campaign, we had been looking forward to sharing with you some exciting news: that we have partnered with a major book retailer to help create and sell more of our successful Books Turn Muggles Into Wizards line.
However, we just received the final paperwork and were crushed to see THIS: (see image)
This CANNOT be happening. We’ve been on the phone with both the retailer, Laterstones, and our lawyers, Honey & Dukes, LLC, but they’re both refusing to acknowledge the typo and insist we keep to our contract, exactly as it’s printed!
…
This is a nightmare.
Please please help us out by signing this petition urging Laterstones to let us out of this contract.
