Working in collaboration with their local police department, St John’s Episcopal Church gave away bicycles that the police donated from their evidence room. One of the bikes came with a cart attached, which proved fortunate for a couple who have three small dogs and wanted to take trips with their pets.
Bicycles are an ideal vehicle for short trips, and are used by commuters all over the world. Would your church participate in a similar ministry? Are there other practical outreaches that churches can use to help people?
