Forty years ago Louie Clay (né Crew) and friends began Integrity to change the Episcopal Church. From sending mimeographed newsletters (in plain brown wrappers if needed) and eucharists held in unpublicized hotel rooms at General Convention, from deep disappointment as legislation towards equality was defeated, to websites, Facebook presence, witness of presence and electric joy as the Episcopal Church moved closer and closer to full equality of rights and rites — Integrity kept working.
