Please pray for the healthy recovery of the Presiding Bishop of Mexico

mapaEl Reverendísimo Francisco Manuel Moreno is the presiding bishop of the Anglican Church of Mexico (la Iglesia Anglicana de México). He is also the bishop diocesan of the Diocese of the North (la Diócesis del Norte), one of the five dioceses that make up the Anglican province in Mexico. Bishop Moreno recently underwent surgery to alleviate gastric discomfort and is faced with a two month recovery. He is hoping to attend the Primates’ Meeting that the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has called for next month (JAN 2016), but it is not known at this time whether he will have recuperated enough to attend.

The Anglican Church of Mexico was originally part of the Episcopal Church (US) and has been an autonomous province of the Anglican Communion since 1 JAN 1995.
