Some fun at General Convention

It is not all work and resolutions and parliamentary procedure. Some have developed games to lighten the atmosphere:


Some deputations are playing a General Convention Bingo. When one hears certain common phrases, a square is filled, after a line is filled it’s a BINGO!

Another game is Bonnie-Ball: Some comments from the umpire of the game:

On Wednesday, July 11, 2012, Patrick wrote: A friend of mine wanted me to pass this along to you:”I rise/write to speak in defense of Deputy Gray of Massachusetts, whose 15 points earned in Bonnie Ball by his appearance in yesterday’s General Convention seem to have been attributed erroneously to Deputy Gould of Massachusetts. No doubt this makes Deputy Gray feel very good about himself, in that he could be confused for someone much younger and better looking than himself, but it certainly doesn’t help his score in Bonnie Ball, which was, until that time, zero.
