St. Stephen’s, Culpeper condemned due to earthquake

St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Culpeper VA, near the epicenter of today’s quake, has suffered extensive damage. According to reports the “the Nave has been separated from the Narthex”. The local building inspector has condemned the building.


According to a report on Twitter:

Our beloved St. Stephen’s Episcopal, Culpeper, VA has sustained extensive damage and has been condemned by the town building inspector. They said it can be repaired, but it will take a fair amount of time. We were able to retrieve items needed for services, which will continue as scheduled in the Parish Hall.
