Survey and map show diverse attitudes toward gays worldwide

A world map issued by Pew indicates which countries are most and least tolerant of homosexuality. Based on a Pew survey, Sub-Saharan African and Muslim-majority countries are the least accepting of gays, Western and Latin American countries the most accepting, and acceptance is rising in the U.S., Canada and South Korea.
