At the ongoing ACC meeting yesterday, the Department Directors for mission gave reports on their work, work that includes empowering discipleship and tackling gender inequality; promoting reconciliation and supporting humanitarian work in conflict areas and following disasters.

The Standing Committee report affirmed the ACC’s own authority within and relationship with the instruments of the Anglican Communion.
Maybe. No. Yes. No. Is that where the Archbishop of Kenya has stood with regard to his support for the participation of the Kenya delegation to ACC16? Or is someone using his signature fraudulently?
Despite my public statement and my personal direction to them, the Kenyan delegation has informed me of their intention to be present, with air tickets purchased for them and assignments already given.
The Book of Ruth will be the focus of Bible Study for the Anglican Consultative Council Meeting in Lusaka.
The report, “Out of the Depths – Hope in a time of suffering” is “an Anglican contribution to ecumenical engagement” and will be discussed during next month’s meeting of the Anglican Consultative Council in Lusaka, Zambia.
The Anglican Communion Office has released a draft of the 11 day agenda for the meeting to which all 38 constituent member provinces are invited to send representatives. ACC-16 will be held in Lusaka Zambia APR 8 -19.
