“Respondent’s conduct directly attacks the discipline process of the Episcopal Church. Respondent’s conduct continues his personal vendetta about a congregation. Respondent’s secret effort (even from his own church) to sell the church in the midst of the Title IV proceedings undermines the integrity of the process.”
The disciplinary panel heard evidence in March, and is considering its verdict.
The community of St James is petitioning the Hearing Panel to unlock the doors of the church.

The Living Church has published an article on line that quotes the Revd Cindy Voorhees, former vicar of the Dio Los Angeles mission St Gregory the Great in Newport Beach CA saying that the Rt Revd J Jon Bruno offered them $1 million to drop the charges against him. Diocesan Canon for Communications, Bob Williams, says that Bishop Bruno was again making the same offer he made a number of months ago. Mr Williams says that it was not offered in return for the former congregants dropping their presentment.
