The Community of St Anselm have temporarily relocated to Canterbury and are spending this week praying in Canterbury Cathedral for the Primates as they continue their meeting.

Yesterday the Archbishop of Canterbury commissioned the first members of the St Anselm Community. During a worship service in the palace chapel, 36 young adults from different nations of the world made a commitment to live as a monastic-inspired community dedicated to prayer, study and service.

The Community of St. Anselm is an initiative of the Archbishop of Canterbury inviting young people from all over the world to join a monastic community for one year at Lambeth Palace.
