On Saturday, April 28, leaders of the Dioceses of Chicago and Quincy met in Chicago to continue discussing the possible reunification of the two dioceses, which were created when the Diocese of Illinois divided into three in 1877.
Updated: The Church of the Apostles (ACNA) in Fairfax, Virginia has settled with the Diocese of Virginia.

The steadfast folks who remained in the Episcopal Church when most of their congregation and all of their clergy voted to breakaway and take the property with them returned to The Falls Church yesterday.

The Diocese of Atlanta announced that The Rev. Martha N. Macgill, rector of Memorial Episcopal Church, Baltimore, Maryland, has been nominated by petition for tenth bishop of Atlanta. The slate announced last month included no women.
At least 17 dioceses will give less than 10 percent of their annual income to the general church.
