Newness
I am not sure I went out looking for the resurrected Christ in my day, but glimpses of that new hope and creation were everywhere.

I am not sure I went out looking for the resurrected Christ in my day, but glimpses of that new hope and creation were everywhere.

Keep my eyes on you, O Lord. Looking to the stars. Traveling with strangers and friends. Opening doors for all. Keep my eyes on you, O Lord. Jesus is born! Joy to the World!

It’s my prayer that throughout Lent and in the coming months we can acknowledge the challenges and the callings of following Jesus. That we can see the brokenness in our world and respond. That we can rejoice together in our joys. That we can together sing that it is indeed a wonderful world.

“I wish you would bear with me in a little foolishness. Do bear with me! And why? Because I do not love you? God knows I do!”

I am still waiting for a few of my failures, some of my wounds, to turn to joy. Jesus forgot to say exactly when the joy would come. But, I am hopeful.

This weeks review is the Jennifer Lawrence film, “Joy,” a story of courage and family.
