Andrews II was the recipient of the Ruth Jenkins Award for Outstanding Service to NAES in 2004. Rev. Spreading sex abuse allegations at RI prep school (UPDATED)

A choir director and clergy person who left St. George’s Preparatory School in Rhode Island went on to full careers in schools and parish ministry, some of which had been contacted by victims. In addition, allegations at St. George’s now extend as late as 2004. And there are allegations of a culture of student male on male rape.

Burgeoning sex abuse scandal at St. George’s School (Episcopal)

An investigation by St. George’s School has found that a total of 23 students were sexually abused by three school employees in the 1970s and ’80s, according to a draft of a report provided to the Globe Wednesday evening. The perpetrators were fired, but the prep school did not report them at the time to child protection services, as mandated by law. – Boston Globe, December 23, 2015
