Jon Stewart has signed off hosting Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. In addition to commenting on politics and skewering politicians, he also turned a satiric and critical eye on religion. Here are few samples:

Perhaps the best moment came on Thursday, June 18, 2015, as reported in Us Magazine,

the day after the tragic shootings at Emanuel Church in Charleston, S.C. Addressing the Daily Show audience in a somber, scathing monologue, he spoke out poignantly about the problems facing our country, and the inexplicable lack of action in response.
