The male couple in the VA marriage equality case to celebrate wedding nuptials

The two men have been a couple for 25 years. They filed a case in federal district court against the VA ban on marriage equality. On 13 FEB 2014, the judge, Arenda L. Wright Allen, ruled the ban unconstitutional. On 28 JUL 2014 the US Fourth Circuit Appeals Court upheld the lower court’s ruling. Finally, on 6 OCT the US Supreme Court denied to hear an appeal of the appeals court’s ruling and same gendered marriages became legal in the State of Virginia. This afternoon, Saturday 2 MAY 2015, Tim Bostic and Tony London are tying the knot. The ceremony is at 4 o’clock pm in their home parish, Christ and St Luke’s Episcopal Church, Ghent, VA. All are invited!
