Washington National Cathedral opens its space for Seeing Deeper

In early February, the National Cathedral has planned Seeing Deeper, five days of events intended for visitors to experience the cathedral’s space in a new way:

By removing thousands of chairs, the Cathedral looks a lot like it would have during medieval times. The openness and grandeur of the empty nave allows visitors to find their own paths for creative expression and spiritual freedom.

The events will include photography sessions, sacred drumming and a couple other musical performances and a picnic on the last day. Click the link in the first paragraph above for a schedule and downloadable flyer.
