Church moves to reconstitute the Diocese of San Joaquin

Canon Robert Moore will be among those offering support and encouragement at a January 26 gathering in Fresno planned for continuing Episcopalians. Also present there will be House of Deputies President Bonnie Anderson, and representatives of Remain Episcopal. Canon Moore was appointed to serve in an interim pastoral capacity in the region by the Presiding Bishop.

Kibaki and Tutu back dialogue in Kenya

President Kibaki and South Africa’s Archbishop Desmond Tutu today called for an end to the post election violence in the country saying leaders from across the political divide must give dialogue a chance. President Kibaki assured Archbishop Tutu that he was committed to political dialogue with members of other political parties.
