Alleluia!
Alleluia!
Christ is Risen!
Can you hear it?
Can you feel the joy?
Can you see the hope?
Can you imagine the world changed?
Easter is here.
We waited. We watched. We prayed.
Easter is here.
In the brilliance of Easter’s glory, the darkness seems far away.
The light shines for us.
Calling us. Loving us. Guiding our way.
In the majesty of Easter’s trumpets, the sorrow turns to joy.
For 40 days we trusted Easter would come.
But we also experienced the darkness.
We learned from the darkness.
We learned that the dark has much to teach us.
For 40 days our prayers drew us closer to you, Lord.
To the One who walks with us.
The One who makes all things new.
Easter is here.
The flowers are beginning to peek out.
The skies are turning blue.
The earth is bursting with new life.
Easter is here.
To bring light to the darkness.
Hope to the hopeless.
Joy to the sorrowful.
Comfort to the afflicted.
Peace to the war-torn.
Freedom to the enslaved.
Healing to the hurt.
Friendship to the lonely.
Easter is here.
To bring a Savior to the world.
Amen.
