The Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society offers a range of resources for the Advent season.
We linked last week to the UTO challenge to raise funds for the Episcopal Migration Ministries. The first of an EMM series of webinars begins this afternoon at 2pm. The Advent Advocacy Update: #RefugeesWelcome series will examine the current crisis surrounding refugee resettlement in the United States.
Each webinar will explore the latest developments and how Episcopalians can be involved in supporting this important work.
The Executive Council’s Advocacy and Networking for Mission committee commends the Litany for Peace in the Holy Land published by the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem, which includes prayers
for all victims of bloodshed, violence, and persecution. We especially pray for all in danger and those fleeing persecution in the Holy Land, and throughout the Middle East.
“Beloved and traditional” Advent services are being offered for viewing on demand by the Office of Communication of the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society.
