The last Lambeth meeting encouraged all the Provinces of the Communion to create forums for listening to the experience of LBTG christians who are seeking Christ within the congregations of the Anglican church.

The Anglican Communion Office has created called the Rev. Canon Phil Groves to serve as the facilitator of these programs around the church.

Sydney considers protest at Lambeth

The Australian Diocese’s Standing Committee has urged their Archbishop, Peter Jensen, to make clear that the diocese disagrees with the guest list for the Lambeth Conference should the Australian bishops decide to accept the invitation to attend. They have also mentioned the possibility of a parallel conference for those who do not wish to attend the Lambeth event.
