Interesting week on the socnets, as some folks call social networks. Relatively quiet, with plenty of Facebook thumbs-ups and Twitter retweets. It’s been a busy week on the Café Facebook page, which has become very good about showing our posts in people’s streams. It’s interesting to note that we have almost as many fans on Facebook as we do followers on Twitter, and if we were to do a serious cull of coffeeshops that follow us because we have “Café” in our name, we’d probably reverse the ratio.
We’re kicking our social media spaces in Facebook and Twitter up a notch through the use of hash-tags and wall posts in a new Sunday feature that will run midday most weekends. But it’s up to you, our readers, to populate it, by posting to our Facebook page or using the #ecafe hash-tag on Twitter.
